April Fool!

Created by Debbie one month ago

When we were children, every weekend Deb and I would be off at the crack of dawn to Whites farm riding stables. When our parents wanted a lie-in, Mark would take us. I remember it would be a fairly fast journey!

I recall on occasion being picked up and as soon as I got into the back of his mini, Mark telling me that there had been a problem with the wheel. He reassured me that it would be ok but I needed to hold onto this box with all my might, as this would stop the wheel coming off. I recall holding on to it with everything I had. In my head we were going so fast we were on two wheels, but I am sure this was not the case. With regular encouragement I held on truly believing that I was the sole reason the car still had four wheels attached!
On arrival at the stables it was pointed out to me that I had been holding on to the front seatbelt casing and that I was indeed an April fool!
